PeppolSoft is an accredited Access Point in various regions, including the United States, Europe (countries where it is mandatory), and soon in the United Kingdom.
Digital Business Networks Alliance
The DBNAlliance is an open network in the United States for exchanging electronic invoices between businesses. It is not mandatory; its goal is to reduce market fragmentation. It operates using a four-corner model, Access Points, and standards such as UBL 2.3. Its focus is not on tax compliance, but on operational efficiency. Adoption is driven by large buyers who require their suppliers to connect to the network.
OpenPeppol — European Network
The OpenPeppol is the organization that governs the Peppol network in Europe, enabling standardized electronic document exchange, especially e-invoicing. It operates through a four-corner model, Access Points, and standards such as UBL 2.1, ensuring interoperability between businesses and governments. Its focus combines compliance and efficiency, allowing companies to meet legal requirements while automating processes. Adoption is driven by government mandates and public procurement requirements across Europe.
Peppol-compatible Environment
PeppolSoft is positioning in the UK ahead of the 2029 e-invoicing mandate, targeting early adoption by enterprises and public sector suppliers. It enables structured invoicing using UBL, API-driven integration, and scalable Access Point connectivity. The strategy focuses on onboarding buyers to drive supplier adoption, ensuring readiness by 2027 and accelerating compliance, automation, and cross-border interoperability within the evolving UK digital invoicing ecosystem.
Framework
The transaction flow is structured as follows: the supplier sends the invoice to its provider (Corner 2), which routes it across the network to the buyer's provider (Corner 3), and then delivers it to the buyer (Corner 4). The key advantage of the four-corner model is interoperability without bilateral integrations. Each participant connects only once—to their chosen provider—while maintaining the ability to exchange documents with any other participant in the network. This eliminates the need for multiple direct connections and reduces integration complexity at scale. From an architectural standpoint, it is a federated network model, where governance (standards, addressing, validation rules) ensures trust and compatibility between independent service providers.
